Selling Your Home in Kinzers, PA
Kinzers stretches along the Lincoln Highway (US 30) about 14 miles east of Lancaster, straddling Paradise and Salisbury townships. Founded in 1835 and named for Harry Kinzer, it’s a small village surrounded by working farms.
Home of the Threshermen’s Reunion
Kinzers is best known for the Rough and Tumble Engineers Historical Association, founded in 1948. Its Threshermen’s Reunion each August — one of the oldest shows of its kind in the country — draws steam and gas engine fans from far and wide. Pequea Valley High School is also right here in Kinzers.
Who’s buying here
The surrounding townships are young and growing: about a third of residents are under 18, households average more than 3 people, and more than 40% of residents speak a language other than English at home, much of it Pennsylvania Dutch. Amish farms surround the village, and buyers are often local families looking for land, barns, shops and homes with room to grow.
Why auction in Kinzers
In farm country like this, the auction is how a lot of property has always changed hands. Our team knows this community and how best to reach potential bidders, and we run a sale day that feels familiar to the families who come to buy.
